چکیده
Information is presented on the conceptualization, experimental study, and numerical process simulation of tailor heat treated aluminum alloy blanks. This concept intended to improve forming behavior parts in challenging conditions. The implementation requires precise control laser treatment parameters within a suitable industrial framework. study details material properties, parameters, results for strength elongation properties an AA6063-T6 alloy. Constitutive modeling applied using Hocket–Sherby equation, which allowed us establish correlation between maximum temperature corresponding softening degree. Based generated flow stress–strain curves, representative case was performed with Abaqus finite element software highlighting potential improvements blanks (THTB). influence effectiveness heat-affected zone (HAZ) dimensions were analyzed.

Process Design of Aluminum Tailor Heat Treated Blanks
In many industrials field, especially in the automotive sector, there is a trend toward lightweight constructions in order to reduce the weight and thereby the CO₂ and NOx emissions of the products. An auspicious approach within this context is the substitution of conventional deep drawing steel by precipitation hardenable aluminum alloys. However, based on the low formability, the application ...
متن کاملExperimental and Numerical Investigation on the Heat Treatment Effects of AA6063 Aluminum Alloy Tubes During Rotary Draw Bending
In this study, the effects of heat treatment of aluminum alloy on the tube bending process were investigated in the rotary draw bending process. As two experimental and numerical simulation methods were used to determine the wall-thinning, ovality, and spring back for extruded, annealed, and aged AA6063 aluminum alloy tubes in different bending angles and bend radii. Numerical simulations were ...
متن کاملStudy of microstructure and tensile properties of infrared-heat-treated cast-forged 6082 aluminum alloy
In this study, a cast rod is used as the material for the forging process (without extrusion). The cast forging process is used to ameliorate the coarse grains that form in the follow-up heating process of extrusion-forged materials. Infrared (IR) heating is also used for comparison with conventional heating processes. Experimental results show that the direct forging process (without extrusion...
متن کاملInfluence of gas tungsten arc welding parameters on the formability of aluminum tailor welded blanks
Welding method and its parameters has an important effect on the formability and mechanical properties of tailor welded blanks(TWBs). In this study gas tungsten arc welding(GTAW) is used to joint aluminum TWBs. Aluminum TWBs consist of 6061 aluminum sheets with different thickness of 1mm and 2mm. Main parameters of GTAW consist of welding current, pressure of shielding gas, welding speed and di...
متن کاملFinite element analysis of tailor-welded blanks
A typical tailor-welded blank (TWB) is composed of several base metals, which might have di!erent mechanical properties as well as thickness. Moreover, a TWB contains a heat-a!ected zone (HAZ) which has quite di!erent mechanical properties from base materials. The forming behaviors of TWBs have been widely studied since they were "rst developed as a way of using collectible o!al. They are often...
